WASPs to be Proud of

Terrific story about the Women Airforce Service Pilots - WASPs - who flew all sorts of planes on the home front to free up men to go into combat during World War Two.  Their service went unrecognized until the 70s, and just today they were awarded the Congressional Gold Medal, the highest honor Congress gives.  Fewer than 300 of the original 1100 are alive to see it, but what a proud day for them and for the country they served so well.
