The more I hear about Scientology, the more appalled I am. As many of you know, the church was started by L. Ron Hubbard, a prolific science fiction writer - supposedly there was at least one issue of an SF magazine that Hubbard wrote ALL the stories for, using different pseudonyms. I've heard at least one person claim to have been in the room when Hubbard announced he was going to start a religion in order to make the big bucks. Others claim it is a myth that he ever said anything of the sort.
