Accepting Gay Children

This story affirms what many of us already knew: that familial rejection of gays and lesbians leads to bad outcomes, including much higher suicide rates. Fortunately that is getting better, but kids who grow up in fundamentalist Christian families are in much higher danger of dying by their own hand, if those families let their doctrine determine how they react to their gay family member. This is what the fundamentalists need to understand when they reject "the homosexual agenda".
