For so many years, I've heard people saying that they liked the Democrats on social policy, but the Republicans on fiscal policy. Articles like these prove that the idea that Republicans are better for the economy is a myth, and there's hard data to back that up.

Of course it's a myth - but for too many years, the GOP has had the bigger, more powerful publicity machine. Heard an interview on NPR with a woman (single, working mother) who said, "Well, I wanted to vote for Hillary, but since she's not running, I'll probably vote for McCain because he supports the middle class." It's all perception, and it appalls me.
I keep hoping people will become smarter, or at least more curious. Until then, I hope we have better ads.
