iTut: All of Howard Carter's Materials on King Tut Now Online

The discovery of King Tut's tomb was probably the best archaeological find ever.

"The collection included all the photographs, glass negatives, reams of notes and diaries from the 1922 excavation's lead archaeologist, Howard Carter."

A fun mystery series to read is Elizabeth Peter's Amelia Peabody series, about a family of Egyptologists, set in the time period of the 1880s to the 1920s.  The author, whose real name is Barbara Mertz, has a Ph. D.  in Egyptology.
