Katherine Miller has been an excellent cadet at West Point. She is leaving the military, however, and transferring to Yale because she can no longer live with hiding her identity as a gay woman. The military is losing a bright young woman who was dedicated to the defense of her country. Another reason to lose DADT as soon as possible.
