Really important
article by Harold Meyerson in the
Washington Post. In it, he wonders if we have become a "can't do" nation, given the degree of political gridlock that exists. This is something that has been worrying me. He argues that if we can't get health care reform done, in a world where other industrialized nations did it long ago, and if Blue Dog Democrats are the problem when universal health care has been a goal of the party since Truman, can we get politicians to solve ANY problems?
