More on Interrogation Techniques from a Professional
This New York Timesop-ed discusses torture from the perspective of a professional FBI interrogator, who has some important things to say. One is that Abu Zabaydah had already given his most valuable intelligence under traditional interrogation techniques before he was tortured. Another important point is that the use of torture created blockages to interagency cooperation between the CIA and the FBI.
