A President with Moral Courage

Ed Brayton, as always, has an interesting viewpoint.  He shows that Truman desegragated the military despite public opinion overwhelmingly against it, and wonders when was the last time we saw that kind of moral courage in a President.  He is, of course, drawing a parallel to repealing Don't Ask Don't Tell (DADT).
