Krugman has two blog posts (
part 1) and
part 2) on a running discussion with Mark Ambinder. Ambinder says certain people were against Bush by gut instincts, and shouldn't have been trusted, even though as it turned out, they were right. Krugman rightly points out that by the time Ambinder was discussing, there was a clear pattern of lies for political gain and abuse of power in the Bush administration, and there were excellent reasons for skepticism which turned out to be well-founded.
